He, the son of industrialist and arts collector Otto Bamberger attended S.a.M. from April 18, 1931 to December 17, 1933 to leave prematurely in order to attend a boarding school in Switzerland. – Most on this picture do wear the white school sports shirt with a triangular dark patch that contains the brightly contrasted initials of the boarding school's name. – In front of the back row of taller students, two medium-sized students stand close together in the center of the picture; the one on the left is Ernst Heinz Joseph Halberstadt (born on November 19, 1912 in Frankfurt am Main, German Reich; deceased on August 18, 1997 in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY, USA), called "Nepo", after emigration named as Ernest J.
