Il 31 gennaio 2021 , alla Royal Rumble , Rollins tornò in azione durante l' omonimo incontro , entrando col numero 29, ma venne eliminato da Edge . Vita privata

Lopez risiede a Davenport , nell'Iowa. [1] È un grande fan della saga di Harry Potter e infatti il cognome Black adottato nel circuito indipendente deriva da quello del personaggio Sirius Black (il nome Tyler, invece, deriva da Tyler Durden , protagonista di Fight Club ). Per questo motivo, inoltre, la sua mossa finale ( Superkick ) quando militava nella Florida Championship Wrestling era stata chiamata Avada Kedavra , la Maledizione senza perdono utilizzata principalmente da Voldemort (antagonista principale della saga).

Come membro dello Shield il personaggio di Rollins è stato descritto come "caotico" per via del suo stile di combattimento. [313] Verso la metà del 2013 è stato invece descritto come "una schietta testa calda che farebbe cose folli" per aiutare lo Shield. [314] Nel 2014 Rollins ha guadagnato i soprannomi di "The Aerialist" ("l'acrobata") e "The Architect" ("l'architetto") dello Shield. [315] [316] In un'intervista fuori dal personaggio ha spiegato che il soprannome "The Architect" è dovuto al suo "approccio cerebrale" per i loro piani durante i match e le storie che vedevano lo Shield coinvolto.
