Fox Interactive a fost o companie americană care a dezvoltat și lansat jocuri video bazate în principal pe filme și seriale de televiziune 20th Century Fox precum The Simpsons , Family Guy , Futurama , serialul Alien și Predator ,Charmed , X-files și Buffy the vampire killer .
În plus, compania a fost implicată și în crearea de proiecte originale precum Croc: Legend of the Gobbos , Croc 2 , Angry Birds Rio , The Operative: No One Lives Forever și The World's Scariest Police Chases .
Istorie
Compania a fost înființată în 1982 sub numele Fox Video Games și a fost o unitate operativă a Fox Filmed Entertainment, o companie News Corporation. [1]
În 1990 a fost redenumit 20th Century Fox Games, iar apoi și-a schimbat numele a doua oară în decembrie 1994, numindu-se Fox Interactive.
Fox Interactive a câștigat, de asemenea, o mare popularitate datorită jocurilor video bazate pe saga Die Hard , Alien vs Predator și seria Croc .
În martie 2003 Fox Interactive Inc. a fost achiziționată de Vivendi Universal Games , acum Vivendi Games.
În 2006, Fox Interactive a dat faliment. Noile jocuri bazate pe proprietățile 20th Century Fox sunt acum lansate de Fox Mobile Entertainment .
